Even if Kevin tells them to blow after six episodes regardless of what they say, I just want to prove ABC dead fucking wrong and show them they were mistaken to mess with the Askewed!
Plus, networks are very fickle. They'll dump a show in a minute (or give one a crappy chance a'la Clerks) or keep one running long past it's prime (like NBCs desperate 5-year renewal of the already stale Law & Order [a previous favorite of mine]).
