Except it doesn't work that way with Catholicism.
If "DOGMA"'s any indicator, Catholics are much more likely to martyr one of their own than to go after infidels. "Stigmata" may've taken a bit of heat, but I don't think that it nor "End of Days" nor "God's Army" (okay, okay, Bob and Harvey are calling it "The Prophecy"...sheesh!!) collectively took the kinda heat that "DOGMA" did.
Of course, no one has a problem picking on the bearded guy in the trenchcoat.
You don't see them going after films sporting Schwarzenegger or Gabriel Byrne...because who wants to go up 'gainst that?
