If you cancel the AOL after the chat, that's only half the battle. Deleting the program is a bit more, but it's still not over because AOL 5.0, despite the denials by AOL, occasionally fucks up every setting in your computer to the point where you cannot use another ISP unless you call AOL for help restoring your defaults.

I would normally have no problem with this, but I work at an ISP and AOL has fucked up too many of our customers to count, some to the point of reinstalling Windows.

So, as a word of warning, download AOL 4.0 and not 5.0

Your future internet experiences may depend on it.

Unless you have a Mac, which seem to be oddly immune to this problem.
