The hood color thing definately makes sense... but still, each angel was wearing the other's color for an undershirt...
As for the popcorn/alcohol thing... unless god removed the ability to eat or drink, then they must have been able to digest (like someone said earlier...) secondly, why would bartleby or loki care if they aren't allowed to drink anymore... they can't go back to heaven anyway?
