OK, I'll get the obligatory "I'm a HUGE fan" thing outta the way -- I thoroughly enjoy your movies and absolutely LOVE reading your various writings. You truly have a unique style and I couldn't begin to tell you how much you've entertained me through the years!
Now, onto the questions: I listened to your stint on the Stern show this morning and wanted to ask you about a comment you made. You said Linda Fiorentino said something about your style of directing . . . that it was unlike any she was accustomed to . . . and that you never had any complaints before. How would you classify your style of directing?? Who was your biggest influence as a director? Have any of your more experienced actors ever mention to you your style was similar to other directors they worked with??
Do you have any future plans for showcasing your writing abilities in the form of a book?
Thank you for keeping originality and creativity alive in the movies!! PLEASE continue!!

(BTW, I named my first son Kevin because I told my husband everyone I've ever known with that name was attractive and intriguing! Just thought I'd share with you how you've helped prove my theory! Or is it I just haven't bumped into the revolting, idiotic Kevins yet?? Anyway, he's attractive alright, and smart as hell, but can 5 year-olds be neurotic in a good way?)
