This may or may not have validity to it, but I thought I'd share.
BACK when I was 11, I was a big fan of "the Mask." Fucking shoot me, but I thought it was a good movie. I found my copy yesterday and watched it earlier today. Not bad, but not half as good as I once thought it was.
Anyway, as we all know, the "mask" is a representation of the Norse God Loki, who was the trickster God.
Now, think back to the Ben Stein scene. When he's looking over the mask. He says it looks to be a 4th century Viking mask, or something, which "may be Loki, the trickster God. According to the myths, Loki caused so much trouble that Odin banished him from Valhalla (sp?)."
Which, translated, Loki caused so much trouble in the respective place of divinity, that the Lord banished him.
Anyone think this holds relevance?
