Stop connecting the cartoon to the movie. They're relatively different and naturally some things will be off. You're just supposed to enjoy the movie for the movie, and the cartoon as its own thing. It's just funny.
Not to say that you're wrong about those things though....there are a lot of different things. But it comes with the business.
