That reminds me of when the Columbine thing happened, and one of the things the media targetted was, no, not gun control, not The Matrix, and not even computer games (though they did blame all these things).
It was trenchcoats.
Immediately if you wore a trenchcoat, you were a VISCIOUS KILLER! Not for the fact that you could conceal a weapon under them (otherwise raincoats would be the next to go), but because you must be a gang member, or something, and must be one of SATAN'S CHILDREN!!
My stepfather at the time was some faggot, SUV driving, american yuppie suburbanite, and he went on at great length on the evils of trechcoats (I never wore 'em, but the stance he took forced me to laugh in his face).
That being said, I am a hippocrite, because I did kick some goth kid's ass for wearing one (But that was because I was looking for an excuse to do it anyway. He was a real fucking retard.)
