: The DVD's themself do not contain copy guard, the copy protection comes from the DVD player itself. In most it can not be turned off but I am sure that you can have someone "fix" that. A enhancer or decrambler would work if connected between the player and VCR..but anyway not here to give a lecture on bypassing copy protection.. The problem is not in the DVD itself. Enjoy the movie.
I'm not sure. My DVD player will copy certain DVDs to video but not all.
With the discs that don't copy, the problem lies in the picture not feeding through my VCR when I connect my DVD player to it. I don't know if there's a protection within my DVD player, my VSR or both.
Perhaps I'm not connecting the equipment up properly (I'm using a single SCART lead as the only connection), but why is it that some discs will copy and others will not?
Any thought?
