Kevin, you've made me proud to be Catholic.

I've always had faith but had to hide it in this atheistic (or pantheistic- lotsa hippies here) region. Yes, shame. Very sad. No Catholic friends. Clung to and memorized the lines from my Indiana Jones videos (you can imagine my glee with "No ticket!") which showed me Catholicism was right and good. Then my friend Erica (Erecta) came along and showed me it could be fun. I recently made her a t-shirt declaring "Catholic: Kicking Evil's Ass." But I still didn't really publicize my belief. People think every Catholic opposes birth control and believes that the earth was created in seven days.

But then DOGMA. How happy it made me. Catholicism is now cool and a source of pride. Thank you so much. I hope I don't sound easily swayed, but it's just nice to know that there are people other than my grandmother's type who profess the faith. Thank you again.
