That would have been fine if he had actually typed "bad spelling," but he didn't. MadKow wrote, "I SINCERELY hope that your spelling like that is on purpose." Awkward at best. Your sentence would have been clearer, or "I SINCERELY hope that you're spelling like that on purpose."
Either way, it was my mistake. I'm not as anal retentive as I'm coming off. Only with Scottieboy.
