Actually, I thought that was pretty lame, especially considering how late into the run it was done. I'm no fan of that decision at all.
Also, it had previously been dealt with almost as if he just had the one name. Giving him the name "Cosmo Kramer" not only gave him another name, but it established that "Kramer" was indeed his surname.

I'm not sure I disagree at all. My reason for asking was more to find out if Kevin had a notion of what they are in his own mind. Like if his life were on the line, would he be able to spit them out or would he have to make them up.
What names he may (or may not) have in his head wasn't really the intended point.
However, it's pretty easily surmised that Jay and Bob are their first names, so giving them surnames wouldn't challenge the nature of their names, just fill them in. That said, I'm not sure there would be any particular benefit to revealing them.
But none of that stops me from being curious about the possibility that Kevin has names in his head for them.
