Ok, everyone, once again WDIO in Duluth has decided not to air Clerks. I am sitting her with my legal pad, ready to whip off a frenzied letter to their program director and I need your help. THX1388 was really kind a few boards back to outline some of the violent scenes in the first ep (ep 4) so that I, not actually having seen the show, would have some knowledge of the alledged violence. (the main reason given for pre-empting that episode) I asked the program director to go back and look at the other episodes before deciding not to show them but I do not think he did that- I saw ep 2 at a Kevin appearance about a month back and if I remember correctly there was no violence in that one. I have a feeling this guy is just being a jerk off now and not airing it cause he "doesn't get" the jokes.
I need help with this... anyone that has seen the eps and has time, could you please outline specifically the acts of violence that happened, how many guns were shown, in what context, etc. I am going to look back at THX's remarks and at newsaskew cause they had extensive outlines posted, but if anyone has time, esp. anyone who has the eps on tape and can look back at them briefly- please help me out.
