: So did the Korean animators draw old skool, i.e traditional cel animation, or did they hand draw every frame with a computer?

The Korean animators hand draw, each frame, but they are scanned & colorized in the old computer, set up against photoshopped backgrounds, and animated frame by handdrawn frame, in the computer as sequential files, negating the need for clear cels & hand-painting, and snap-by-snap "filming" of those cels. I was surprised that all frames are hand-drawn & scanned- I assumed that some "color-forms" type models were used for various poses.

FUNFACT: Early Fawcett artist CC Beck, artist who originated Capt. Marvel, had made up a series of stamps of Capt. Marvel & Capt. marvel Jr, and would use them a lot throughout the issues to speed his work. F'in creep.

Right?

: Also, what computer programs do industry animators use to animate in the computer with? Right now I'm using a lowend frame-by-frame program called Web Painter. Yeachhh!

: Thanks,
