Okay everybody. I want to see a show of hands. How many people have a VHS VCR? Hands down. Okay, How many people have a DVD Player?

See, the masses have the VHS. Therefore, in order to make more money on rentals (The studios get like 30% and not to mention Pay Per View), they hold back the title for sale for about six months to get more money. But since the masses don't have DVD, they can sell it to a small market (And make a shitload of money). Same with Laserdiscs and Beta tapes (Although few).

Hope you learned something here.

And I've just shown how much of a geek I am.

Rico
