"Build Me Up Buttercup" is performed by The Goops.
There are about a hundred different versions of "The Girl from Ipanema" (AKA "Garota de Ipanema"). Since the song used is an instrumental, I'd assume that the version in "Mallrats" and "The Blues Brothers" is either the one by Percy Faith or Antonio Carlos Jobim (who wrote it), but I could be wrong.
Kevin? Anyone? I'm not at home right now, anyone want to check the credits?
