Okay.. I know, "Bartleby" & "Loki" are not Angelic Names either, and the whole thing was that the "name" or specific instance of any aspect of the divine or extra-human cannot be pinned down by one culture, or one perspective....
BUT DAMN IT, which Muse was "Serendipity" supposed to be? I checked the much bally-hooed summaries, and came up nil.
Calliope, if memory serves, was the muse of epic writing, & Clio the muse of history, & historical writing.. Serendipity claims to have given the bible-writers their inspiration, but wants to write her own "creative" venture... I know, the *answer* is that she's an amalagam of the concept of a "Muse," but still...
Kevin, did you have a specific Muse in mind when you wrote it, or was it just that "Clio" sounded too porny, and "Terpsichore" sounded like a disease?
