'Big Trouble' Lies Ahead for Jason Lee

HOLLYWOOD (Variety) - Jason Lee has been cast in Barry Sonnenfeld's ensemble comedy ``Big Trouble,'' which stars Tim Allen and Rene Russo.

Tom Sizemore and Katie Holmes also star in the story about a group of people whose lives are interrupted when a nuclear device inside a suitcase is rigged to go off in a Miami airport.

``Trouble'' is based on the best-selling novel by Pulitzer Prize-winning newspaper columnist Dave Barry. Production begins in August in Miami.

Lee will join the set immediately after wrapping the MGM comedy ``The Breakers,'' which stars Jennifer Love Hewitt and Sigourney Weaver. He was most recently seen in Lawrence Kasdan's ``Mumford,'' and next stars as the lead singer of a rock band in a Cameron Crowe feature for DreamWorks.
