Kevin's DVD intro

Is it just me or does Kevin sound very sarcastic in the DVD intro? Is there some issue with DVD? Does Kev still think "Fuck DVD"? or is kev just amazed that people care about a simple comment about a new format at a time when many formats seemed to be coming out? Just curious, Thanks
