Whew! Lucky i got A high spot!!

Anyway, A few things I'd like to point out is that the show was doomed by ABC from the start. First off, it premiered at a bad point. When it was on, some people were on vacation, so its not going to go well anyway. Second, I'll guaranDAMNtee that the episodes were placed in the order of least funny, moving to most funny (which explains the strange order right?). Third of all, I think ABC was under pressure to put Spin City back on because of all the publicity of Michael J. Fox's leaving to fight Parkinsons. Clerks was produced, for a part, before Millionaire came on, so at the time they were desperate for something that would sell, afterwards, they realized more people may leave rather than stay after seeing the very unrelenting humor of Clerks. Moral Majority assholes.

I have to wonder however, why would they put a teaser at the super bowl? That HAD to cost a whole lot! Then they proceed to alienate all the viewers willing to watch it by showing only 2 of its episodes? Come on!!!
I again wonder, why ABC? I'd bet some more bold channels would be willing. Comedy central, HBO,USA, or even FOX. I'd even bet that one would now be willing to buy the 6 and air them.

ABC was just not the place for clerks (they were right there). It belonged on HBO, where they would allow ANYTHING. ABC just didnt know what kind of show they were dealing with, and Kevin probably really wanted to make the show. It wasn't meant to be.
