Hey,

I grew up Middlesex, and hung out in Red Bank, Bell Mar, Sandy Hook and Seaside Hieghts all the time. Then I joined the Navy in 89 and moved to San Diego. About 2 years later I left, I transfered to Japan and was there for 7 years. Now I'm in Hawaii.

One day, while floating around in the Persian Gulf, I was watching Mall Rats for the first time and I nearly had a freakin' heart attack when I saw the Route 1 Flea Market sign! I started paying much closer attention after that, and though I don't know exactly how much of the film was filmed in Jersey, it still felt like home. Thanks very much Kevin. I always wondered why your characters felt so familiar to me. I could swear, I KNOW these people!

Anyways, thanks very much Kevin. I enjoy your films greatly. I particularly enjoy the dialog. You've got a style of writing that makes you really want to listen closely, and then you laugh your ass off! I haven't seen Dogma yet, (mostly because I didn't know it was yours until I looked at the back of the box at a video store and saw Silent Bob and Jay!) but you can bet I will very soon.

By the way, I heard recently that they tore down the Route 1 Flea Market. Too bad, that place had soul.
