I hope that it is on Monday rather than Tuesday.
Let me try this tactic...think about this fellas. Putting the show on Tuesday guarantees that a chunk of people who don't live on the northern east coast won't be able to go because they'd be missing three days of work/school instead of one or two. Maybe that's a valid plan, 'cause it'll cut down a little of the rabid demand for tickets, and the crazy hardcore Silent Bob-Bacchae will still fight to the death to get there whether they have to miss a week or a minute of real life responsibilities.
However, I live in upstate NY and if the Tuesday date sticks, I will be more likely to get tix and I will definitely show up. I will come convincingly dressed as the shit demon, with the help of all the neighborhood pigeons, and sulk in the corner whilst everyone avoids my stench. I will dance in front of the screen until I am bodily removed after attempting "The Butterfly" which no whitegirl should ever be allowed to attempt. I will froth at the mouth when Bryan Johnson arrives and scream loudly in front of the poor cashiers at the Holiday Inn, "HE HAS NUDE PICS ON THE 'NET! WANT THE ADDRESS?" I will throw tent revivals and make a general ass of myself until the theater kicks us all out into the street.
Seriously, no threats, but I genuinely plead for a Monday show. There's no reason why the dressing-up, secular Halloween thing can't be done on the night before Oct. 31. Plus, then you guys can still take your kids out trick-or-treating the next night. It's a sound plan.
