The Hollywood Stock Exchange is reporting that the Farrelly Brothers are going to make the Six Billion Dollar Man into a "Madcap Comedy" starring Chris Rock. Or at least have approached him about it.

Now Kevin, I know you are a fan of the old show as I am. I am only a few months older than you are, so I bet you were running in slow motion in your elementary school running the same time I was trying to bend monkey bars in mine.

I also know you penned a script for a movie version I would love to find somewhere.

So are you as afraid as I am that we will have a "Wicky Wicky Wild Bionic Man Rap" coming to MTV soon?

I mean I love Chris Rock, and the Farrelly Brothers are hilarious at times, but I really wish that the Bionic franchise could be spared the shame that James West and Artimus Gordon had to endure a year or two ago.

Wild Wild West with Will Smith was a Hollywood gang rape of the memory of a good show.

I think "A Very Farrelly Bionic Man" is going to be a big "Kick Me" sign on the back of Steve Austin.

You keep telling us about how screwed up Hollywood is, I guess this is just one more example of this.

The Six Million Dollar Man was a good show, and even though it got campy, it was crying to be remade into a somewhat serious adventure. A 21st Century Bionic Bond.

This is just the wrong way to go with this. Why Don't the Farrelly's just sign up Chris Reeve to do Numb and Number.

Or how's this? Battlestar Galactica set to Gilbert and Sullivan... "The Pirates of Penzance take on the Cylons"

There are plenty of old TV Shows to rape, why did they pick this one.

Once this franchise goes comic, can it ever go the right way again?
