I'm a big fan of Fight Club and had read the original book before the movie was in production. When posting, I ignored the fact that it was a book first, because then it wouldn't have been even mildly amusing. I aim for small smiles, not big laughs, or accuracy.

: Chuck Palahniuk is the author of the original Fight Club book, which came out before Chasing Amy. Therefore, were you claiming that Fincher ripped off Kevin, you would have to reverse that and instead claim that Kevin ripped of Palahniuk.
