While I rarely post, I have been coming to this site since its inception, and must say that these last few weeks on here have made it frustrating, for me at least, to visit this board. It seems that right around the time the Clerks cartoon aired, this board has been inundated with the type of kids who frequent the AOL Gay/Lesbian Chat Rooms looking to pick a fight. It also seems that the "regulars" have stopped posting as often as well. Most likely they are as sick of this juvenile and retarded display as I am. When a person with the screenname "Nigger Your Mom Fucked" posts 5 times in 15 minutes, you know he's only there to provoke responses. It seems to me that many of these newbies are trying to post as much as possible, regardless of how intellectually devoid the content is, just so they can appear to be regulars and get their name "known" by the folks in red.
The worst part about this is that I don't think there is a real solution for this problem. If I see one more "Vincent Sucks" post I'm going to vomit. I don't come to this board to get riled up and to call out people and tell them to come to ViewAskew Chat so we can rip on each other. I come to this board to be entertained and to learn more about the movies I love. My only suggestion is that the people in red stop posting for awhile. Unless Kevin or the like has an important update, I think the only way to weed out the fuckwads from those truly interested in this board is to stop giving them ammunition. And unlike many of these newbies, I also derive pleasure from what the "regulars" like Chuisano, DarthDobbin, Smalls, gramps, and THX1138 have to say as well, not just the Red Names. So here's hoping that the regulars can ignore the shit clogging up this board, and keep writing the entertaining posts that keep me coming back to this place, with or without the frequent presence of red names.
