Come on now, it's a movie meant to be enjoyed. Everyone always asks about what happens to Bartleby at the end blah blah blah. Bartleby and Loki wanted to go back home (Heaven) as angels. Due to the unknown repercussions of becoming human, Bartleby and Loki chose to stay in angel form until a situation arose that would be more tempting to take advantage of.
