"Cruise" is a term that means going out looking for..um..."ass." There was a Pacino movie called "CRUISING," about someone killing gay prostitutes.
Hence all the clever "Does Tom Cruise" jokes that arise.
: Besides, what's all this '24/7' gay business? Weren't you the one who said the lines were blurred and all that??
Yes, the lines ARE blurred for most folk, to greater or lesser degrees. Most people think there is not ONE SINGLE SOLITARY homosexual urge or leaning, or whatever ANYWHERE within them.. Most are wrong.. But that one twinge or instance,or even "conceptual attraction", without ever any thought of physical consummation, balanced against a mountain of heterosexual desire, makes someone more on the "hetero side..." They are simply discounting that SOME ambiguity may exist somewhere, choosing to view it as a binary division- You can either be one or the other, but nothing in-between.
However, to be out and out GAY; no-holds barred, Hooper-esque, hairdresser in tight pants gay, is has much less "grey" than a "Banky." Like I said about that continuum; there are those who are on the far end of either side. When I say 24/7, I mean dudes who just are not very attracted to women, freely admit it, and actively pursue men.
