Hello Kevin. I know this may seem like a redundant question for you, but I was curious what advice you could give to a person like me.
For the last few weeks I've been working on a script for a very, very small budget movie. I ask you because, well, your excellent work with Clerks is partially the inspiration for my ideas. It's a comedy set in a Denny's over a period of 24(maybe less. I really don't know yet) hours. I've worked for Denny's off-and-on for almost 5 years and have seen very interesting things. I've been discouraged lately because of the money that will be involved with filming, plus I really don't know what equipment is essential for a small budget flick with no special effects. I never went to a film school, and never intend to, so I was curious if you, or anyone out there in Askewland, could offer advice on where to start.
