: They'd been here for a millenia. What's another 50 or 60 years?

Don't forget Azrael's guiding hand.
the first post asked "did they just not think of it?"
and i think that's quite possible.

also, it's quite a gamble to plan on living 50 or 60 years without sin.

also, whos to say god would forgive them? i missed that.
Is a priest's blessing infallible (i just honestly don't know).
(i mean, if he wasn't a real priest, then they wouldn't know that the blessing/forgiveness hadn't worked till they bit the big one.)

also, maybe bartleby just didn't want to beg forgiveness to go back.
it's been too long since i saw the movie... (and the SE is so far off. weep!).
note: i dunno why god has to have forgiven bartleby in the end. maybe she obliterates/ends him. maybe she cures his ailing mind, he thanks her, and she sends him off to hell. maybe she made them both angels again and sent them back to wisonsin? it is god after all. did i miss something?

: This is getting out of hand.

YES! wee!
i was tempted to post in response to 3 diffeent messages. but decided condense here. fun fun fun.
