Clerks, and Mallrats both take place into the New Jersey suburbs...Not to be rude, but, there aren't too many black people out there.
Chasing Amy took place in New Jersey/New York...They'd expanded the Askewniverse a bit. There are black people in New York.
Dogma took place on the eastern part of the US. The Askewniverse expanded further. Chris Rock was there, along with Dwight Ewell(Who's scene was much longer, but not important to the flick)
