I ain't sending that grunter bull-hockypooky, 'cause that would only raise his sense of self-importance. I don't give a fuck if he don't dig the flavor of Smitty. First of all I don't understand what the hey he's talking about with dropped projects. Superman got snatched, Clerks 2 evolved into something different, and Fletch is full steam ahead.
Different strokes for different folks. Some people hated the cartoon, some loved it, who wants to sit around here arguing & jerking off over a show that's already been canceled, will NOT be inflicted upon the public on a weekly basis ever again if Kevin speaks true, but will be made readily available to the people who would enjoy it. Case closed tighter than Newt Gingrich's ass.
That having been said, I must admit that it seems a *tad* hypocritical to point out the pretentious shortcomings of others (P.T. Anderson anyone?) and then go around talking about your "vision". Something about that just gives me the old nails on the chalkboard shiver.
However, the day that I take anything seriously enough to e-mail the author, from a guy who can't distinguish between an actor and the character that he plays, who bitches endlessly without offering any concrete examples to back up his opinions, well...on that day I will still be too busy to write, for I shall be ice-skating hand in hand with Lucifer through the freezer of the underworld. Doing triple lutzes and shit.
Let the crackheads have their alleyways. No need to haul their raggedy-assed would-be witticisms over here into the land of sunshine and roses.

: Comment: Can Silent Bob ever shut the fuck up? He blabs endlessly about all these hypothetical film projects he's supposedly juggling and then never follows through, always complaining about how so-and-so "raped" his creative input. Wah, you big baby. Of course, seeing the mealy fruits of his network t.v. cartoon debut, I wouldn't be too thrilled to fund any new project he's mouting off about. Kevin - the reason "Clerks:The Animated Series" failed wasn't Mousekewitz's fault. It fell squarely on you. The show just WAS NOT funny. Not even remotely humorous. Of course, Kevin never really was able to take the blame or the responsibility for his filmic fuckups. It wouldn't be good press then, would it? Couldn't occupy 3 or 4 column inches in every entertainment section of the newspaper if Kevin didn't wangle his accusatory, so-and-so-did-such-and-such-to-my- "vision," finger at someone pseudo-famous, now could we? Go back to selling funny books, you lottery-winning hack.-----
