I bought an episode of Mystery Science Theater 3000 (Brain that wouldn't die) the other day and i thought of an ingenious idea. Instead of having a video screen in the middle of the picture blocking the view why don't you just get all the people doing the commentary and have them be recorded MST style like they're in a theater watching the movie. It would be easier to follow along with the movie and still see the people in the comentary. And maybe you could even have an intro on the SOL ("Satelite of Love" to MST fans or "shit outta luck" to cynics).
