Someone on the recently-replaced board suggested John Cusack as a new Fletch...which is, of course, all wrong, but would you PLEASE make a movie with him? You know, some sort of View Askew/New Crime Productions team up (like a Marvel/DC crossover)...Silent Bob meets Lloyd Dobler/Roy Dillon...the man who penned Grosse Point Blank and the screenplay for High Fidelity with the infamouns author of the Jersey Saga...
Scott could produce it for VA along with John's two boys for New Crime, cause Cusack's working with Miramax agian on Serendipity now. And John and Kevin could write it. That would be my wetdream on film. I could die a happy, happy man. Unless of course it was just the beginning of a franchise.
Anyway, can you just imagine John Cusack's high-strung personality playing off of a post-jay-and-silent-bob Mewes? It would be the funniest shit ever. I think this should happen. What can you do for me Kev? Come on, Scott and Brian et al., talk him into this. With the profits alone, VA could make movies forever, not to mention the awards...C'mon Kevin&Cusack, waddya say?

Oh yeah, and this time you should have Alexis form the View Askew office in the picture...have you guys seen her on the virtual tour?
