Congrat's to Mr.Smith on takng over the "Fletch" series I know that being a fan he will bring a sense of inteligence and humour to the project.I know it's (very) early in the casting dept (Jason Lee is a good start)In the book's Fletch is described as a late twenty-something, beach bum tanned, intelligent smart ass.After thinking this over "Owen Wilson" came to mind. He's shown his comediac chop's in Bottlerocket and Shang Hi-Noon(I'm told I didn't see it)and Sheryl Crow think's he's cute!
