I'm certainly not going to condone what you said, although to be honest, you've raised an interesting point and given how much time you spent writing that, it deserves to be heard. However, instead of attacking Kevin, as you seem to have done, why not put the blame of whatever it is you are blaming him for on someone more deserving of it. He does not reflect hatred in his films, nor does he cause children to starve (????). If anything his only real enemies are the film critics who bash his films, not helpless children. If you feel you have to go off on someone, blame the REAL instigators of hatred and violence: Televangelists.
But seriously, don't attack a great filmmaker like Kevin Smith just because you don't like dick and fart jokes or whatever the hell you're protesting against. Maybe you should attack Quentin Tarantino instead. Or Wes Craven. Or maybe even Spike Lee. If you thought Clerks was bad, go and watch Summer of Sam. It's on StarZ all month. Maybe you should go back and reflect on the views you made earlier. Who knows, you might find them enlightening? But then again...
