Interesting note - my personal favourite director David Lynch (sorry Kev - you the man but Lynch was there first!!!) was actually up for directing Jedi but turned it down because it wouldn't have been his vision.
If you know anything about Lynch you can imagine how wacked out his version would have been. The incestuous relationship between Luke and Leia, the organic nature of Jabba's palace and those wonderful trees on Endor!!!!
