You can see how untalented he is just by watching Mallrats. It's pretty clear that he pulls the movie down. Despite some of Mallrats being watered down for Universal(toning down jay's character, etc), the only real problem with the movie is clearly London's lame performance. If Affleck, or O'Hallorhan had played TS, that could've been fixed. I'm not sure where your confusion lies.
