Chasing Amy DVD recall?

Has there been some official word about a Chasing Amy DVD recall due to the incorrect framing and the misrepresented "supervised" transfer?

I've sent a few e-mails to Criterion including one to Jon Mulvaney, but I have gotten no response.

I know I'm being picky, but I want to see the movie the way it was supposed to be seen. I also think Criterion should step up on principle to protect their good name. Criterion Collection has always been the benchmark for quality on DVD and Laserdisc. I own many of their DVDs and Lasers and they have always been wonderful. (The Brazil DVD set is a great example of what they're normally capable of.)
