It sounds like your taking this in a good direction. DON'T LEAVE IT HERE. I mean don't just leave this post as your offer to kevin. Call the office, write emails, send letters. I'm not trying to belittle you professionalism but i've seen too many requests for interviews, endorsements, and cameos left untouched because the poster thought this was the best way to reach kevin.
