I didn't know that it started today, I thought that it started tomorrow (friday). So being extremely exhausted from not sleeping well, and the heat, I decide to take my little bro with me, and head on out there to get my 4 day pass (it was free! Thank god for being media) Well I go out there, and finally find a place to park, I unload my backpack, which also had my clerks comic book in it..I didn't think that kevin would be signing autographs just yet. So I hoofed the 4 blocks with my 7 year old brother, and we head in. Man the registration was simple, I just told them I was from a website, showed them my card, and I was in..full membership, without spending a dime! Well I walked in, checked things out, and something caught my eye..it was the View Askew booth..so I walk on over, and follow the line all the way down till a see a man sitting down, that looked incredibally like Kevin Smith..and low and behold it was...I didn't have much money on me, and no comic book, so I just stood there and told my little bro who I was looking at, and that this guy is my hero, and my fav writer/director...so we stood there for another minute or so, before moving on..and every now and again i'd walk back by, just to catch a glimpse of the man himself. Now that i have my good camera, and my dogma script, and clerks comic book, I'm good to go. Unfortunately my Daredevil Visionaries is being borrowed by a friend right now, and I dont' have time tomorrow to go over there and get it, but thank god the convention is another 3 days long, and this guy is going with me on sunday! So YEAH! Well my rant is done..Kev man if you read this..see ya tomorrow! Peace!
