A Better Place is "Happy little world of soap..."

Hi all
I havent seen A Better Place yet, (and Im REALLY looking forward to it)but anyhoo I read a piece of a plot summary which went like this(by the way, its talking about the main character, Barrett Michaelson):

"Barrett Michaelson finds an unlikely ally in local loner, Ryan Walker, an intelligent but misanthropic youth with a dark family past. A friendship quickly develops, but Barrett begins to worry as Ryan's philosophical ranting turns increasingly violent. "

Now I dont know about you, but when I read this, a little subliminal thought creeped into my head: Ryan Walker : Tyler Durden. From my (and basically most of the people on the board from what I have read) beloved "Fight Club". Vincent, did you notice the similarities? Did you see a little of Tyler in your character, or vice-versa?

Anyhoo, Im rambling a bit so I'll just leave you with that thought

I only drew the conclusion from a plot summary, so I dont know what to think not having seen it. If anyone who has seen it could tell me if I am completely off, or even if Vincent could tell me if
