: Kevin, (and all VA fans)

: I just took the time to hear the interview with Howard Stern about the "Clerks" animated series. I think some of those reviewers must seriously have their heads up there butts.. When Howard said that a reviewer said Clerks was about "2 moron friends" I immediately became enraged! The dialogue alone in Clerks is not "moron" material. It's mostly intelligent, witty humor. There is a fair share of "dick and poopy" jokes, but Clerks was a witty movie. I haven't seen the cartoon (I'll buy it when it comes out on DVD) but I'm sure it's the same.

It's actually quite different, unfortunately. It's more about the off-the-wall adventures that happen to Dante and Randal. I guess the movie was a bit like that, but the cartoon is more slap-sticky. Definitely worth having, though, just because it's set in the Askewniverse.

: They kind of bash you, Kevin (if you're even reading this, for staying independent, but I admire you for staying true. Keep it real! That's how you earn respect. I'm glad you're not conforming. This is what makes legends. I hope you realize this and BELIEVE it! Don't let them get you down. View Askew isn't for everyone and that's the beauty of it. It's not written for everyone...

He already conformed for "Mallrats".

: Some day I'm going to take the road trip (holy pilgrimage)to New Jersey from Northern California to check out the Stash and see Mewes running the register. Someday...

You're going to be waiting there a long time, then. Mewes hasn't worked there for months. You'd be more likely to see Bryan "Steve-Dave" Johnson, or Walt "Fanboy" Flanagan than Mewes.

: Can't wait for the special edition DVD for Dogma and more news on VA5!

: p.s. What's so special about Walt Flannagan's dog? Tell me (us) the story!
: Was there a reference to it in Dogma that I didn't catch?

Pick up Jay & Silent Bob in Oni Double Feature #1. They sell it at the Stash, I believe.
