First off, truth be told, I never really got into comics.
I am interested though.
So my trip to Comic Con was only to meet Kevin.

I work in radio about 2 and half hours away from San Diego I was a bit behind to begin with, then traffic...suck!! Parking...REALLY sucked!!
I got my media pass (the Comic Con folks were very friendly and cordial).

I was late!
When I finally found the hall Kevin was appearing in, they had just started the Clerks episode.
Imo, this was the funniest of the episodes I've seen. Was ABC chiefly in charge of deciding what episodes aired in what order?
I think that episode could have made the show a hit.
After kevin said a few brief words, most of the crowd exited.
Now my chance to meet a man I've admired for a long time.
Kevin was being inundated by the left over crowd, and needed to get where he needed to get.
I stopped him, mentioned I worked in radio, gave
him my card and mentioned that if he ever needed help with audio producion (yeah right) I was available. I also told him that I really wasn't there to network, but came because I was a fan.
He was reaction was "Cool...Great...Ok...Thanks."
The thing that I thought was awesome was the fact that whether or not he gave a shit, he seemed genuinely interested and very gracious.
He was in a hurry and could have taken a
"Yeah, ok...whatever" kind of attitude, but didn't.

That made the 2 and a half hour drive, the traffic, the parking, all worth it.

If I can get very base for a second:
Kevin, If that was Jen with you...
Dude!!Score!!!
She was very lovely.

Best to you,

Bill
