Seriously, though, as someone who just turned 39, and is rather bummed out about staring 40 in the face, getting old isn't really that bad. It's the growing up that sucks, and my husband and I are bound and determined NOT to grow up. (All of our friends are turning into assholes, acting their ages and such.) Besides, we've had 17 great years of marriage, and, as other posts have noted, the sex DOES keep getting better and better!!
So belated HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Just don't grow up and start acting like an asshole.
