I was watching Dogma for the first time a couple weeks ago and I noticed that the television news reporter's name was Grant Hicks. I understand that Dante and Gil Hicks are identical cousins, and decided that it was my new life goal to figure out how Grant Hicks fit into the equation. When I saw that Grant had a "small resemblance" to Dante and Gil I took into consideration Kevin's astranged sense of humor and came up with the answer. Grant is the identical uncle of Gil on Gil's mother's side. Therefore making Dante and Gil identical cousins, Grant and Gil identical uncle and nephew, but leaving Dante and Grant of no blood relation. Hmm... Kevin, am I close?
