Kevin (or anyone who reads this e-mail),
I first saw Dogma last week for the first time and I thought it was one of the best flicks I've ever seen. Within the week, I've bought the DVD and watched it over and over and there was one scene in it that confused me. I shouldn't say it was the scene, but something that a character did that I don't get. Maybe it's because I've taken a couple film courses and am just being over-analytical, but a question nonetheless.
In the scene with Loki and Bartleby in the Mooby boardroom, Loki makes a statement to (who I'm guessing is) the CEO. During this statement, he sneezes. I was just wondering what the point to having the sneeze was all about. Was it simply to see if somebody would say "God bless you" and see if they were pure or what? It just seemed a little out of place the first couple times I saw the movie and it threw me. Well, that's it. Thanks to anybody who answers this for me.
