Seriously. You're way too unorganized to make a go of acting right now.
That said, if you're going to try, make sure you have enough cash for a month or two and get a regular job as fast as you can. Buy Backstage West and get on an indie film, probably for nothing but experience. Then get the Hollywood Creative Directory for agents and find one to take you. You can get the HCDs at Samuel French bookstores, one in Hollywood and one in the Valley.
