I'm an insensitive bastard too.
I can't stand it when people whine and cry and say, "oh you don't know what it's like to be fat, it's so hard to lose weight, wahhh"
On the other hand, I don't waste my time telling fat people they should lose weight.
If they wanna be fat, let em be fat. If they wanna lose weight, they'll find a way to lose weight. These days everyone knows the health risks and all that other crap. Why would anyone think that they're telling someone something new when they say "hey it's not healthy to look like you do." Jeez. Leave it alone!
: I would never pretend to speak for Kevin, but that post struck me as pretty damned insensitive.
: I in no way live a soft, fluffy, P.C. world; but that's the way it hit me.
: Have you ever had weight problem?
: I can tell you it's a rough place to be.
: I am now to starting getting a good handle on my weight cause I've figured out how.
: If you haven't lived it, you could never know.
: Having a slow metabolism blows!
: I understand you took the "We care about you, Kevin" approach, but still...
