Last I heard on Preacher was that it was still in pre-production limbo, but for my 2 cente-don't do it. I think Frank Miller said it best when someone asked about a sin city movie: "What, you don't like the way I'm drawing it?" There's no way that a preacher movie could do as much as the book does. The run feels like a complete story, and not like a case of getting tired of doing a book. I'd love to know whether the entire thing was plotted out ahead of time, or whether stuff in the middle was filed in on the fly.

Other thoughts: Frank Miller should stay away from Dark Knight. Just like a Watchmen 2, this could never work. More Batman, yes, but not a "sequel" to Dark Knight-the story ended, and there's nothing else to tell.

Cedar Point. 2 Words: Millennium Force. Fuck!

: I just pickede up a couple of the Preacher tpbs including number two with the Kevin Smith intro...amazin stuff. Preacher is definitley a deranged fucked up yet highly intelligent and funny comic. If i recall you said you'd like to make a preacher movie or write a script for it or something. Do you like Ennis/ Dillon's take on the Punisher? Personally i think its great thyre trying to revive the old school ways of the book and since its sellin like mad i think there might still be hope for Frank Castle.
: If they ever did make a Preacher movie do you think they could cram all the fun stuff into 2 hours? If so who do you think would make the best main cast? If Dogma got such early ignorant hate response, do you think that Preacher would stand a chance of gettin made to its fullest, truest state? It would definitely be one wild ride of a movie..
: What are your current comic reads? Do you stick with the marvel books or do you go for the Vertigo/ dc route? Do you think Frank Miller can live up to his high standards with a new Dark Knight Returns book? I recently started reading his old Sin City stuff and must say he definitely has an amazing sense of design and composition. This is running long so i'll wrap it up..

: ps. i wore my Jay and Bob shirt to Cedar Point and got alot of people commenting on it (the 40 year old guy running the power tower and some 40ish lady waiting in line) your fanbase is ever growing.
