I'm not saying that Clerks: The Cartoon will never been shown on UK TV (it has been known for shows that have already been cancelled in the US being shown over here) but if you look at Fox's "Family Guy" (which has only recently started being shown on UK terrestrial TV) you are looking at a gap of over 1½ years from when it was first shown in the US - so you're going to have a long wait.
My recommendation is to buy a DVD player (preferably a chipped one/or one that can be hacked) then buy the official US DVD when it's released.
